Idea Behind Sparrow Daughter( Bird House)
Sparrow Daughter is a part of Tack Exim Private Limited. Tack Exim Private Limited is a reputed company involved in manufacturing and supplying of horse and other equestrian products globally.
Sparrow Daughter was founded by Mr. Adil Siddique, the Managing Director of TEPL. It is an initiative taken by him to save the birds who are at the verge of extinction, especially house sparrows.
This concept came to his mind when one day while he was feeding his younger daughter lunch, some rice fell on the ground and a couple of sparrows came and started feeding on the fallen rice.
This incident reminded him of his childhood days when his mother used to take out a portion of rice from every meal she cooked for the sparrows that gathered on his terrace every morning and evening. They were treated as if they were the members of his family.
From that day onwards, he started feeding sparrows and gradually their number started to increase but still they were quite less as compared to his childhood days. The house sparrows that were once an exemplar of commonplace birds were now rare to find. This made his heart sink. He was not content and wanted to do something more for his long lost feathered friends and eventually he came up with the idea of Sparrow Daughter leather birdhouses. The conservation of the sparrows is the need of the hour. He is doing his part and now it's your turn.
